To say it’s been an adventure is an understatement. Morris was one of the first crews at the Pentagon on 911, she also pulled 9 G’s when she flew with the Air Force Thunderbirds. Those are some incredible memories that news has afforded her. But what she treasures the most, are the everyday people and places that she gets to experience that a desk job simply wouldn’t allow.
Morris is lucky to have been honored with nine regional Emmys – five of which were for “Best Live Reporting.” Additionally, she has a regional Edward R. Murrow award to her name. But there is nothing she is more proud of than her husband and son. Family is paramount to her. They are why she works and why she loves life so much. Furthermore, she loves a nice glass of red wine, Skyline chili, a good book, the start of vacation, and knitting it’s how she brings her blood pressure down.
