Since arriving at Action News, Jamie has traveled with the Phillies to Spring Training in Clearwater. With the Eagles to the NFC Championship, with the Flyers to the Stanley Cup Finals, and with the Villanova Wildcats to the Final Four.
Additionally, the most enjoyable experience of her career was being on the field for the final pitch in 2008 as the Phillies won the World Series. She will never forget being inside the clubhouse for the champagne celebration and then on the parade route down Broad Street. That entire month was a dream come true for this baseball “Phanatic”.
A magna cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Communications, Jamie is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a 2nd-degree black belt in karate. Furthermore, Jamie comes to Philadelphia from El Paso, Texas, where she was the Sports Director at KDBC. One of El Paso’s most honored sports journalists, Jamie was named the 2005 Sportscaster of the Year by El Paso Inc.
She began her career as a sports producer at KNBC in Los Angeles where she was privileged to cover the NBA and the Lakers, including the team’s memorable 3-straight NBA Championships. Jamie also covered the Angels’ World Series title and the Ducks’ run to the Stanley Cup Finals. Outside the office, Jamie serves as the Co-Chair of the Gary Papa Run and she is on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Jamie and her husband, Paul, are the proud parents of three boys.
