In 2000, Hainsworth transitioned to television and joined the emerging BNN network. He not only hosted some of BNN’s highest-rated programs but was also recognized by viewers for his ability to distill the day’s financial news on local CTV newscasts across Canada and for CTV News Channel.
Hainsworth frequently refers to himself as a “computer geek” and maintains a technology and human interest-oriented blog featuring stories often covered for the networks.
