Cook started as an accountant at the financial district in San Francisco! She started in accounting, which was the one job she told her mom, an accountant, that she would never do. But that was her ticket in, and she soon worked her way up to the trading floor of Montgomery Securities. It was one of the leading West Coast Wall Street firms at the time, and it was exciting for her. Cook learned a lot about the stock market, investing, and taking companies public. After about five years, she realized she was not getting enough back from my job.

She is also able to volunteer in the classroom, go on field trips, and pick them up from school every day.
