Renee Nelson is an American Emmy award-winning anchor who is currently working at Fox 10. At the station, she co-anchors the early morning hours of the show on weekdays from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m., and at the 12 p.m. show, she joined the station in September 2018. Prior to joining Fox 10, Nelson served the morning live desk at ABC in San Diego California.
Nelson was born and brought up in the North County of San Diego after she vacated Arizona for work. She started her broadcast career in Bend, Oregon where she then moved to anchor the morning live desk at ABC in San Diego, California from ABC Nelson landed her current job at Fox 10, airing every weekday morning.
In addition, later in her career, she developed a great love for the Arizona Cardinals, after her brother started working for the team. Nelson explored with the team’s Friends and Family to the Superbowl during the 2008 season. She enjoys doing things she’s not supposed to read out loud and fantasizing about exercising.
