The Fort Hood terror attack, and numerous hurricanes and tornadoes.

He also has received a Golden Mike award from the Radio, and Television News Association, several Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Las Vegas, and two Las Vegas Electronic Media Awards.
