He also served as bureau chief for KGBT in Brownsville, Texas. Arambulo also covered the murder of NAVY Seal and U.S. war hero Chris Kyle. The Fort Hood terror attack, and numerous hurricanes and tornadoes.

He also has received a Golden Mike award from the Radio, and Television News Association, several Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Las Vegas, and two Las Vegas Electronic Media Awards.
