After that, in 1991, she moved to Indianapolis where she started working as a reporter for WISH-TV’s 11 p.m. newscast and co-anchored its 5:30 p.m. newscast with Scott Swan. Alongside seasoned anchor Dave Wagner, Tiernon served as a news anchor for the 5, 6, and 11 p.m. newscasts at WLWT-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio, from 2000 to 2004. Tiernon has worked for WTHR-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana, since 2004, where she co-anchors the newscasts at 5:30 and 6 o’clock for the station’s NBC affiliate.
