Rodgers started his career as an anchor and reporter at WDEF-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and as a sports anchor at WSVN-TV in Miami. While at WSVN, he was named Miami New Times Best Sportscaster in 2003. He and his wife, Diana, live in New Jersey with their two sons.
