Since 1995, Jeff has been providing weather predictions on television. Since he joined our team in 2018, this makes him the most experienced weather forecaster in Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming. Jeff swiftly advanced to an anchor position at WIS-TV in Columbia, SC after interning at WSPA-TV in Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina. He later rose to prominence as the most-heard morning radio DJ in Charlotte, North Carolina, and made appearances as a weather anchor and chat show host on WSOC-TV and Fox Charlotte. He also took on the role of the Charlotte Motor Speedway’s voice. As a news director/anchor at WCWG-TV in Greensboro, NC, and a feature reporter for WFMY-TV in Greensboro, NC, Jeff has conducted interviews with two presidents, hundreds of sports, music, and Hollywood celebrities, as well as a ton of local celebrities.
Jeff has made national television appearances on “Young & The Restless,” “Game Show Network,” “Reba,” and “Behind the Music” on CMT. He also has a role in the recently released film “Margarita Man” with Danny Trejo and Barry Corbin, which is available on Amazon Prime and Tubi. In this absurd comedy about college students, he portrays himself while working as a news reporter. At KSAT-TV, Jeff co-created, hosted, and produced “SA Live,” San Antonio’s top afternoon talk/variety show. This program received astounding ratings and served as the template for programs in Detroit, Houston, and Jacksonville, Florida. When he’s not creating your First Alert Forecast, Jeff hosts the morning show on Idaho’s top Country 99 KUPI-FM, where he receives the most listener attention.
