She graduated with degrees in Broadcast & Digital Journalism and Marketing. While at Syracuse, Jenna was a host and reporter at the campus station, Citrus TV.
She also hosted and did play-by-play for WAER radio and ACC Network Extra. Her favorite memories include covering March Madness, Cowboys Training Camp, and Syracuse Athletics. Jenna was a competitive figure skater for 17 years and skated on Syracuse’s Synchronized Skating Team. While most ten-year-olds were getting ready for another day of school, she found herself scanning the sports section of the Dallas Morning News.
She was preparing her weekly radio segment of “Fink On Football,” which combined her love for the Dallas Cowboys with a new experience: talking about the team. her mom anchored the news on the radio, exposing her to broadcasting at an early age. Each week, she made predictions about the upcoming Cowboys game.
This sparked her passion for sports journalism. 13 years later, she is the Sports Director at KHSL/KNVN in Chico, California. She loves sharing stories of athletes, coaches, and teams throughout Northern California. She has covered local Olympians, state championship runs, and everything in between.
