Neubauer owes that passion to his father, somebody who owns and has maintained a weather station for over 20 years! He attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and then completed his bachelor’s degree in Meteorology from Texas A&M University in 2018. During his time in college, he interned at KBTX-TV in Bryan/College Station, TX where his passion for weather only continued to grow.
After graduation, Neubauer relocated to Odessa-Midland, Texas where he covered a variety of West Texas weather for the CBS affiliate there, KOSA-TV. The weather out West included anything from dust storms and hailstones as large as oranges to the occasional foot of snow. His passion for weather has now brought him to Northwest Florida and Southern Alabama near the gulf, otherwise known as hurricane country. During his time off, he enjoys driving around to see the area, as well as getting his daily coffee.
