Notably, he was appointed by former Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam in October 2016 to serve as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Tennessee State University.
He was re-elected to this position unanimously in 2019. He is also a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and the Kappa Kappa Psi Band Fraternity. Bishop Walker currently holds the esteemed position of International Presiding Bishop within the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship.
