Giglio characterized homosexuality as a “sin in the eyes of God, and it is sin in the word of God.”In a discussion about racism in June 2020, involving Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy and rapper Lecrae, Giglio proposed replacing the term “white privilege” with “white blessing.”
He suggested that the “blessing of slavery” had laid the groundwork for the world that white people inhabit. Following the backlash, Giglio issued an apology on Twitter for his remarks.
