He is an active member of the American Meteorological Society and enjoys reaching out to the community through events and school activities to increase weather awareness. During his free time, Matt enjoys writing and performing music and plays a variety of instruments including the piano, guitar, and trumpet. Matt’s favorite season is fall because he loves the lower humidity, cooler temperatures, and of course SEC College Football.
