Vasos joined FOX4 in 2002 as a General Assignment and Traffic Reporter. A thrill of a ride flying in SKYFOX covering breaking news and traffic conditions around the region for several years. In 2011, he moved to the anchor desk, to FOX 4 News at 9 a.m. and our Noon broadcast. If there is one constant in the news, it’s changed. No two days are the same, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Proud to call Kansas City home. He is now co-anchor of FOX4 News with Abby Eden each morning from 4:30-6:30 a.m. Then keep an eye on traffic through 9 a.m. He hops back into the co-anchor role for the 9 a.m. show. Vasos began his career in 1993 at a small building with two radio stations.
At the radio station, he was able to sharpen his news, sports, and traffic, play-by-play producing, production as well and writing skills in the first ten years. Additionally, he is an advocate for mental health first aid, suicide prevention, and spreading awareness that there is help, hope, and camaraderie. Furthermore, in 2016 he got a position on the board of Team Fidelis.
