Despite network and worldwide media attention on this case, Stauch’s biological family told Nicole they rely on her continuous coverage to learn about developments in the fight for justice for their son. Gannon’s stepmother, charged with the boy’s murder, also spoke exclusively to Nicole in the days leading up to her arrest.
Before moving to Colorado, Nicole worked as a reporter and anchor in Mobile, Alabama earning her very first Edward R. Murrow award with her news team for Overall Excellence. She also spent two years reporting and anchoring in Tri-Cities, Washington. Nicole is passionate about giving her community the answers they need and deserve.
