It wasn’t the amazing, yet unusual, orange lightning that was a product of the volcano, or even the excitement of a typhoon that made landfall as the volcano erupted. Not even the relentless earthquakes that she and her family endured for days led her to a future in weather.
It was simply her love for flying. By obtaining her private pilot’s license, Stephanie realized just how important accurate forecasts are, convincing her to learn as much as she could about science. Stephanie enjoys going to area schools, businesses, and organizations to recognize his dedication and hard work by featuring them in her Weather Welcome. Stephanie’s favorite place to escape to is the beautiful beaches in the Florida panhandle.
