Robert is a proud 2007 graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh, where he earned his degree in Broadcast Journalism. His commitment to meteorology led him to earn a Broadcast Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University in 2017. He’s currently a valuable member of the 40/29 News team, serving as a meteorologist.
In November 2020, Robert became a part of the 40/29 Get Ready Weather Team. Prior to this role, he gained substantial experience in weather forecasting in Bismarck, North Dakota, where he diligently provided weather forecasts for Central and Western North Dakota. His experience there encompassed tackling a wide range of weather conditions, from blizzards to extreme cold with wind chills plummeting to 60 below zero, as well as coping with triple-digit heat and severe weather. Robert’s dedication to meteorology in Bismarck earned him a nomination for a 2020 Upper Midwest Emmy Award for Best Meteorologist.
Furthermore, Robert comes to 40/29 from Bismarck, North Dakota where he spent the last two years forecasting the weather for Central and Western North Dakota. Before his meteorological journey, Robert spent nearly 15 years working at the Pittsburgh radio station, KDKA, taking on roles as an assignment editor and a Sports Anchor at sister station Sports Radio 93.7. Outside of his professional commitments, he’s an avid enthusiast of golf, softball, and curling.
