Being a Meteorologist was not a lifelong dream of his, yet now she can’t imagine doing anything else! his work is fulfilling and fun. She feels so blessed to be able to share his passion with all his KTVU viewers and friends. After high school, she thought about Law School so she first became a Paralegal. While Law was interesting, she found himself wanting something a little more artistic and exciting; acting and modeling fit the bill. She enjoyed doing both during college while searching for his true passion.
She has always had an interest in the news. Additionally, her fascination with current events led him to education at SFSU in TV Broadcast Journalism. Orozco was hooked! It was fun, and exciting and allowed her to learn something new every day. Straight out of college, she began her career as a TV news anchor and reporter. Later she attended MSSU for Meteorology. Her career path has also included positions as a TV traffic reporter, California Lottery announcer, and TV show host. Orozco’s job is never boring; she could be at the front lines of a major wildfire one day, reporting on a major sporting event the next day, and meeting the President of the United States the next.
Although she has never met a U.S. President… at least not yet, these experiences are all fantastic for different reasons. Moreover, she has played a role in the person she is today, including the privilege of receiving an Emmy Award for “Breaking News” coverage. As for sports, she is a hometown fan. She roots for the A’s and Giants, the 49ers and Raiders. Furthermore, Loves the Warriors and she is a huge fan of the Earthquakes and the Sharks. Orozco feels so fortunate to have one of the most incredible jobs on TV. In her free time, he is a mom and a wife, his husband and children couldn’t be more loving and supportive.
