One of Sam’s most memorable experiences at KHON2 is covering the 2012 Hawaii High School Athletic Association football state championship. “The pride shown in the communities of Kahuku and Punahou, as well as the respect displayed between the two, was awe-inspiring,” he says. Moreover, the Interdisciplinary Studies major and former Spectrum Sports color analyst can be found spending his free time with his wife Chassis, and son Raymond. “There’s no better place in the world to raise a family than our islands. Additionally, I want to do everything I can to help keep it that way.” He says.
