The Emmy-winning reporter earned her Broadcast Meteorology Certification from Mississippi State University.
Keely joined the 9NEWS Weather Team in January 2022 as a weekend morning and midday meteorologist. Before returning to Denver, Keely worked for KGW in Portland, Oregon for 18 years. For more than a decade there, she reported on climate and environment-related issues.
While in Portland, Keely covered everything from historic wildfires to 100 mph winds, and even a tsunami. While in Santa Barbara she interned in both news and sports at the ABC affiliate there before landing her first TV news job in Casper, Wyoming.
Keely is thrilled to get back to Colorado and work at the station she grew up watching. During her free time, Keely spends her time playing with her daughter and son. Between soccer games and karate lessons, you’ll likely find them on the ski slopes.
